I have always loved the Disney PhotoPass system, and now they have made it even better! Before you even arrive, you can add Disney PhotoPass + to your vacation package. This package addition includes a Disney Photo Pass+ voucher for a special PhotoPass card once you get to the parks, a voucher for a PhotoCD, and Disney’s Photo Gallery Cd.
On my recent trip to Disney World I pre-purchased the PhotoPass+. I am so glad I did! You need to purchase the package at least 14 days in advance of your arrival at your Disney resort. A few days after I ordered the package, I received it in the mail.
The Photo Gallery CD contains over 400 beautiful high-resolution photos from the Disney World Resort. These would be great for printing, scrapbooking and crafting. They are stunning, Also included was a voucher to turn in once you got to the resort, to receive your special photo pass. The special photo pass came on its own lanyard and was very convenient. There was also a code to type in on the website to receive your PhotoPass CD after your vacation.
I really loved the ability to just get my ride photos added to the photo pass. It was so simple, You just got the number for your photo from the screens, and then they scanned the PhotoPass. 
Dinner Photos at several of the restaurants are also included, and this was so nice. The Cast member would just hand me the photo package, and I could take it with me – or get it sent to my resort. On the receipt they wrote the code to have it added to the PhotoPass, and the next time I walked by one of the Photo Centers, I just had to pop in and have them type in the code, and scan the PhotoPass. If you want even one ride photo and one Dinner photo it is worth the cost. 
As of right now the price of the PhotoPass+ is discounted to $149.00. For this price you receive the Photo Gallery CD (39.95 value) Your PhotoPass CD when you get home ($149 value plus FREE shipping) any of the Dining locations listed above ($30 value approx each) and any of the ride photos listed above added digitally to your Photo Pass ($14.95 value each) The purchase price will most likely go up after this initial phase, but as you can see it is a great deal!
The only downside I can see, is that the PhotoPass+ is only good for 14 days from your arrival, so if you were to stay at Disney World longer than two weeks, you would no longer be able to use the special features.
The PhotoPass+ opened a couple of doors for me and I was able to get a few special “magic” shots from the Photographers. (I even got Fairy Wings!) The “Magic” shots are available to all PhotoPass holders, you just need to ask. 
I really enjoy the PhotoPass system as a whole, It isn’t often we can get those who are usually behind the camera in the photo with us, so that alone makes it worth it to me. The PhotoPass + just takes an already wonderful system to the next level.
