Disney Cruise Line® is continuing its Holidays on the High Seas cruises in 2015. Halloween on the High Seas runs on most sailings from late September through Halloween. A special costume party in the atrium complete with trick or treating and photo opportunities with costumed characters, make for an unforgettable evening of fun.
The ships are beautifully decorated for Halloween with garland, a Halloween tree, and jack o’lantern faces in porthole windows. Don’t miss the adults-only costume contest while enjoying ghostly beverages! There’s plenty of fun for the kids with themed arts and crafts and spooky campfire style storytelling on the deck. My family and I sailed last October and we especially loved taking pictures with the characters in their costumes.
If you’re a Christmas lover, don’t miss the Very MerryTime Crusies sailing mid-November through Christmas. Even Disney’s own Castaway Cay Island, gets in on the fun with Mr. and Mrs. Snowman sightings, a Christmas tree, and more Disney magic! All of your favorite characters will be dressed in their Christmas attire for some special photo opportunities. Onboard the kids will love Holiday storytelling, deck parties, and a tree lighting ceremony. December sailings will even have the chance to see a life-size gingerbread house. Where else can you cruise with Mickey Mouse and Santa Claus?
